In 1998, Women of Wisdom Inc. (WOW), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded from a heartfelt vision—a dream of creating a community where women from all backgrounds and denominations could come together to uplift, support, and inspire one another. This vision was built on four guiding principles: to Encourage, Equip, Educate, Energize, and Empower.
Since its inception, WOW has been dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and relationships that transform lives. Our organization provides a welcoming space where women can grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and make a tangible impact in their families, workplaces, and communities.
Each month, we gather to strengthen and support one another through prayer, mentorship, and service. By creating an atmosphere of love and unity, WOW continues to be a source of encouragement and empowerment for women seeking purpose, connection, and spiritual growth.

WOW Women of Wisdom is deeply committed to serving our community with compassion, dignity, and practical support. Each month, our WOW Empowerment & Education Lunches bring women together for nourishment, encouragement, and tools to serve others with confidence and purpose. Through the WOW Care Closet, we provide free clothing to women facing financial hardship, career transitions, or life changes—alongside job assistance resources and connections to local support services. And with WOW Fit for the King, we offer free health and wellness programs that honor every body and promote holistic strength of mind, body, and spirit. In 2025, we added a new initiative, You've Been WOW'D - a way to show people they are loved and valued by performing random acts of kindness and meeting the needs of people in our community. Whether we’re feeding hearts, clothing hope, or walking in wellness, WOW is here to uplift and equip women to thrive.

Founder & President
Robin Killeen has led WOW since its founding, turning a long‑held dream (dating back to 1998) of empowering and connecting women into reality. Under her leadership, the organization focuses on encouraging, equipping, energizing and empowering women in South Mississippi, with core values of integrity, respect, teamwork, leadership and community. Among its initiatives is the “WOW Care Closet,” serving women in need. Robin serves as the primary representative for WOW with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce and oversees its monthly luncheons and community‑connection events.
Robin brings her vision and leadership to the board, committed to creating a space where love and connectivity can flourish.
Dr. Eileen Whittemore

Dr. Whittemore partners closely with Robin Killeen to guide WOW’s mission of women’s empowerment and community connection. In her role, she centers on the heart of the organization: offering encouragement, fostering relationships, and driving initiatives such as the WOW Care Closet — a ministry providing clothing and support to women in need. Dr. Whittemore is instrumental in shaping the culture of joy, love, and connectivity that WOW strives to embody on the Gulf Coast.
As Chief Encouragement Officer, Eileen brings her supportive leadership and relational strength to the board, helping ensure every woman who engages with WOW feels valued and empowered.
Patrice Torricelli contributes to the leadership of WOW, participating in initiatives such as the organization’s luncheons and public‑engagement events. As Prayer Coordinator for the organization, her written work —such as the piece titled “Confidence”—demonstrates her reflective and faith‑based approach to inner growth, resilience, and living with purpose. As the "You've Been WOW'D" Program Director, she takes meticulous notes regarding WOW's impact across the Mississippi Gulf Coast and beyond.
Patrice brings to the board a voice of encouragement, insight, and authenticity—walking alongside women as they navigate confidence, faith, and community.

Liz Hoop

Liz Hoop is a recognized Gulf Coast entrepreneur and author who leads her company, Hoop Cares LLC, a senior‑concierge and non‑medical in‑home caregiving service based in Mississippi. As a member of WOW’s leadership team and board of directors, her involvement also underscores her commitment to women’s empowerment and community well‑being.
With her entrepreneurial background and community‑focus, Liz brings to the board both operational acumen and a heart for service—aligning with WOW’s mission to empower, energize and equip.
Belinda Clark serves as Treasurer and plays a key role in coordinating the organization’s monthly empowerment luncheons for WOW. With a dedication to financial integrity and community service, she ensures that the mission of WOW—to encourage, equip, energize, and empower women—is backed by a firm operational foundation.
In her role, Belinda blends stewardship of resources with warmth and service‑oriented leadership, helping every event run smoothly and meaningfully.
