Fit for the King is a fun and engaging wellness initiative that nurtures women’s physical, spiritual, and mental health through accessible, joy-filled programs. As Romans 12:1 reminds us, when we “offer [our] bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God,” we are living in a way that honors Him—and that is exactly the heart behind this initiative. From movement challenges to devotional check-ins, we’re creating space for every woman to grow strong in body, mind, and faith— with plenty of encouragement. Join us to live the F.I.T. L.I.F.E., embracing a lifestyle that is truly “fit for the King”!

This month, we'll begin offering virtual, pre-recorded Praise & Move sessions.
Great for every age and fitness level, these classes are unscripted, free-flowing movement classes that incorporate gentle stretching, free-spirited movement... and JOYFUL expression! This is something you can do from a seated position or standing, and you do ONLY what you're comfortable doing. No pressure, no stress - just a great opportunity to get out and move your body.
You can find the links on our Fit for the King Facebook page beginning in September or email us for more information!
Emphasis Verse: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Crossroads: Creating a Cross and a Space to Heal is a hands-on Fit Life Lab designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit through creativity, reflection, and faith. Participants will choose from several creative cross projects—including painting, woodworking, fabric, or shattered glass—to create a meaningful piece of art that represents their own journey of healing, surrender, restoration, or renewal.
As we create, we'll pause to reflect on the things we carry, the things we're ready to release, and the places where God is inviting us to rest and rebuild. Because wellness isn't simply about taking care of our bodies—it’s about caring for the whole woman.
Create. Reflect. Release. Restore.
At the foot of the Cross, we can lay it down.
As we create together, we'll also pause for prayer, reflection, and uplifting conversation, making this much more than a craft night. It's an opportunity to slow down, connect with others, and leave refreshed in both heart and spirit.
No experience is necessary—just bring yourself and a willing heart!
You choose the type of cross you'd like to make:
We want you to choose the cross that represents where you are right now.
🪵 BUILD — Wooden Cross
“What am I building?”
Participants decorate or construct a wooden cross. Reflection:
What am I building in my life?
What do I want to strengthen?
What foundation am I standing on?
🎨 EXPRESS — Painted Cross
“What am I feeling?”
Participants paint their cross on canvas using colors, words, symbols, Scripture, or designs. Reflection:
What am I feeling right now?
What do I need to express?
What do I want to remember?
🪟 REDEEM — Shattered Glass Cross
“What broken pieces am I giving to God?”
Participants paint a cross on canvas, then cover it with shattered glass and resin over the top of it. Reflection:
What looks broken in my life right now?
What if God isn't finished with the pieces?
🧵 PRAY — Fabric Prayer Cross
“What am I placing in God's hands?”
Participants create a fabric cross. This one becomes a physical reminder of prayer.
You can write prayers, Scripture, names, or words on attachable cards and incorporate them into the cross. Reflection:
What has been weighing on my heart or mind that I need to give to God?
Cost: $20 per person (includes all supplies and donation to WOW Care Closet). Once your payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information. Ladies only, please; ages 16 and up.
