Eight  years ago, Bridget Turan began the 9/11 Event what would become WOW Honors First Responders with one simple mission: to honor the heroes who serve our communities every day.

Since bringing the event to WOW Women of Wisdom, this outreach has grown into a collaborative community effort powered by volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, organizations, and countless supporters across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

While many hands and hearts now help make this event possible each year, we are greatful to recognize Bridget Turan for creating the event that started it all.
